Peach Grower Selects HarvestMark Traceability

"Lane Packing Co., the packing-shipping arm of Fort Valley, Ga.-based peach grower Lane Southern Orchards, has chosen the HarvestMark platform to meet Produce Traceability Initiative needs, according to a news release.

 

"HarvestMark is a product of Yottamark Inc., Redwood City, Calif.

 

" 'For more than 100 years, we’ve prided ourselves on delivering only the highest-quality produce to our customers,' Duke Lane III, vice president of Lane Southern Orchards, said in the release.

 

“ 'We selected HarvestMark, because it offers us a simple, cost-effective solution to achieve PTI compliance. In addition, HarvestMark provides us with a wealth of information about our cases of products as they move throughout the supply chain, allowing us to monitor and ensure our quality standards are consistently met.' "
